Kale – Lacinato Organic – Dinosaur or Lacinato kale is fantastic for kale chips It makes a great salad and here is a recipe:
2 bunches lacinato/dinosaur kale, de-stemmed and thinly sliced
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (1 lemon)
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil Garry and I have taste tested olive oil and we really prefer Carapelli Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil USDA Certified Organic you can find it at Costco or online.
3 cloves garlic, minced
big hefty pinch of coarse sea salt
roughly 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
pinch of red pepper flakes, to taste
2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
It works great in the curly kale recipe also.
